Pre-save Data Availability

Pre-save Data Availability

Updated over 5 months ago

You can create and embed pre-save patches any time before an album's release date and Sonikit will automatically convert the patch to a standard album save on release day. In order to create a pre-save, you'll need the album's UPC, URI, or URL.

If your album hasn't been delivered to streaming services yet or isn't available as a Pre-Release, you may not see preview data or album art in your Sonikit dashboard until the streaming service makes it publicly available. However, your fans can still pre-save the album as usual and Sonikit will automatically update preview data and album art when services make them available.

Some streaming services like Spotify do not make album data available publicly until an album is fully released. You can still add Spotify to your pre-save patch as long as you have a Spotify URI.

If your patch has the album art display option enabled and album art is missing, Sonikit will automatically use album art from another streaming service on your patch.
